NeuCool Overview

NeuCool is a complete liquid cooling solution, using a highly-efficient two-phase process and a dielectric refrigerant that is entirely safe for electronics.

The NeuCool system supports 1500W+ per socket and up to 100kW per rack (80kW direct-to-chip cooling), easily cooling current and future generations of high-performance CPUs & GPUs. 

NeuCool is a tailorable solution that is adaptable to specific compute needs and infrastructure systems.

NeuCool 2P DTC In-Rack System

NeuCool is a complete system that accommodates standard server racks for ease of deployment from the edge to hyperscale data center, and everywhere in between.

  • Supports extremely dense servers and racks, allowing move compute power per square foot
  • Highly-efficient system drives PUE down, allowing more power to be allocated to compute
  • Compatible with a wide variety of facility water and final heat rejection systems, including waterless, pumped-refrigerant options

NeuCool iPCU

The Intelligent Platform Control Unit is the heart and brains of the NeuCool System​.

  • Contains core logic, industrial condenser, N+1 pumps, system sensors, and touchscreen control system
  • Redundant, hot-swappable components, including power supplies, pumps, sensors, and core logic board
  • Integrated condenser enables transfer of heat from NeuCool loop to a variety of heat rejection options
  • Intelligent, load-balancing pump system extends lifecycle and provides robust fault tolerance to maximize uptime​

NeuCool iPCU

Aluminum manifolds direct refrigerant between servers and the NeuCool iPCU.

  • Split design for installation flexibility, optimized vapor and liquid flow, and heat isolation
  • Low-profile design for rear aisle serviceability with no PDU interference
  • Designed and tested for 3x normal operating pressure​
  • Stainless steel, dripless quick disconnects​ feature one-handed operation with audible connect

NeuCool Reservoir

The NeuCool Reservoir provides refrigerant expansion volume to respond to fluctuations in compute power.

  • Creates head pressure that extends pump life and prevents instabilities in fluid flow
  • Contains redundant level sensors that enable the leak detection system
NeuCool Software Management System

NeuCool Software Management System

  • Integrated software platform monitors and controls all important parameters and functions of the NeuCool System
  • System interfaces include a local touchscreen LCD on iPCU or remotely, via a dedicated Web interface and/or DCIM
  • Integrates with data center Network Operations Center (NOC) and server system management systems through SNMP, IPMI, Redfish, DCIM, etc.

NeuCool uses a 4th-generation dielectric refrigerant that is optimized for 2-Phase, DTC cooling​.

  • Non-flammable, non-toxic, non-corrosive, ASHRAE A1 safety rating
  • Ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP=1), zero ozone depletion, non-forever chemical
  • Zero damage in the unlikely event of a leak
  • IT-friendly with server and IT rack gear​
